Hi friends! All I can say is WOW! I arrived in Austin TX to be a part of the American Beekeeping Federation 64th annual conference on Thursday Jan 11, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Frederique Keller and I conducted an apitherapy workshop on Saturday the 13th, and what a wonderful turn out! I was worried because of heavy rain in the area that would keep people from coming out, but I was wrong. We had a full house! I would like to thank all of you who attended, and of course the American Beekeeping Federation for having us be a part of their program. What an honor! Frederique and I enjoyed spending time with all of you who were there, talking about the healing aspects of the beehive, and Frederiques presentation of "Api-puncture". Combining bee venom therapy with acupuncture. I would sure appreciate all of you who were there, to make a posting here talking about your expeience at our "Apitherapy Workshop" For those of you who were not able to attend, I will be conducting a workshop in Oklahoma City in March for the Oklahoma State Beekeepers conference, and again in March for the Missouri State Beekeepers in Jefferson City.
On the 27th of this month, I leave for India to help a woman stricken with MS get on the road to wellness through bee venom therapy, of course I will make a future posting about my trip there.
Thanks again to Frederique Keller, for taking her time to be a part of this event, and to all of you who participated in our very positive "Apitherapy Workshop" A special thank you to Kim Lehman for all of her organizing skills, our formal introduction to which she opened with a song she made up entitled "Bee Stings" to the tune of "A bicycle built for two" and making sure Frederique and I had a wonderful time in Austin, And Kim's husband Mark who gracously used his time to video tape the workshop! Another thanks to Glenda Wooten for her continued pro-active suport in opening doors for me at so many beekeeping events. Big hugs to all of you!
For now, BEE healthy, BEE happy
